Greetings Blue Springs Runners and Friends thereof;
The time has come… the Blue Springs Runners Winter Series! (The well known, and delightfully brisk series of 8 Saturday morning runs at 4 convenient locations) Please join us for this winter tradition, and also please volunteer to host one of the runs. And don’t forget- there will be desirable prizes (TBA) for all who register. Patty and I will host the first run on November 3, 2012, and the last run on February 16, 2013, leaving 6 runs to choose from:
November 24 2012 at Lake Jacomo
December 1 at Daniel Young Elementary
December 15 at Danial Young Elementary
January 5 2013 at Adam’s Dairy Parkway (Home Depot)
January 19 at Adam’s Dairy Parkway
February 2 at Burger King Wood’s Chapel (Lakewood)
Typically we ask for 2 people to “pair up” and host each run, makes the tasks a lot easier and fun, maybe even both can get a short run. Bring water, coffee, and goodies, save your receipts the club will reimburse you for purchased items. You will put signs on the course and have someone at the start and finish. Patty and I will ensure you get all the items and info you need to host a successful Winter Series. This is a great way to give back to the Blue Springs Runners Club for all the companionship, support and fun it has provided all of us! Let myself or Patty know which date you prefer, help us make this season’s “Series” another success! See you out running!
